To all, Thank you for the amazing work you all contributed to getting my basement set up with drains, pumps, and a dehumidifier!! I was overwhelmed by hurricane Ida. As a recent widow, imagine my horror watching 18 inches of water come into my basement from ground water on one side and the river from the other.    I had three quotes and although your cost was a bit higher than one, the care and thoroughness of the presentation and quality of the work he showed made it an easy choice.  I am thrilled with the results.     The original installation time did seem a bit distant and I was concerned about another downpour.  However my interaction with Jen Raccio was the icing on the cake!!! She was so kind and accommodating. She reached out to me to move the scheduling of the project up by a month. Her kindness reassured me that this was definitely the right company to help me.    So far two projects have been completed and they are both of such good quality. We have a third project scheduled as a result of the excellence of the previous work and your staff.     Happy New Year and thanks Don and Jen and your staff. Best regards.

Tony came to my house to evaluate water in a section of my basement coming up between the floor boards. He spent quite a bit of time analyzing the pitch of the floor and then discovered a leaking water heater in the adjacent utility room that he thought was the root cause of the problem. Not the foundation. The water heater was replaced and the leakage and water in the adjacent room dissipated. He was quite knowledgeable!

Mr GullottiOne of your employees, Jason Wood came to our house Saturday morningto investigate a wet spot in our basement. He was extremely thorough, methodical and explained what he was doing each step of the way.  Hedetermined that the leak was not from a compromised wall in thebasement but from a busted air conditioner waste pump.  I appreciatethe fact that he did not feel compelled to sell us service that we didnot need but was able to identify the issue and then spoke directlywith the repair people from Professional Water to explain what wasneeded. Jason is a man of integrity and his actions reflect so well on yourcompany. We will always recommend Ct Basement.   Thank you. BillL

Dear Mr. Janesky, Thank you for sending Rainer Finke to assess my basement water problem. Within one hour he figured out the source of the water that countless other consultants, engineers and contractors had not been able to figure out in ten years! After carefully listening to my description of the problem and studying the area, he determined that the water was entering through a window that was about ten feet away from where the water was coming across the floor. However, there had never been any physical evidence of the water entering, because it was traveling down the exterior wall and across the floor behind the drywall. Because it was being held back by ceramic tile, it continued traveling until it reached the carpet, where it could flow freely. Rainer's problem solving skills and professionalism did not end with identifying what he believed the problem to be.  He was determined to test his theory, so he ran a hose by the window well and sure enough, the water did just what he hypothesized it would! Subsequent to identifying the problem, Rainer explained in detail how to solve it. I know my letter is yet another in your vast collection of testimonials, however, I learned today that they are all well deserved. Gratefully yours, Anne I.

Please accept this correspondence as my heart-felt thanks for an exceptional job and as a reference which I'd be pleased for you to share as you wish. I have been in the property management business for 25+ years and have come across my share of drainage issues. The Board and I were impressed with your time and presentation concerning a specific basement issue we've been attempting to remediate for several months - though unsuccessfully until you offered what turned out to be the perfect solution. I also greatly appreciate how accessible you were during the whole project.

I am writing about our experience with CT Basement's Triple Safe sump system. It's been fantastic, especially through the Nor'easters of the past two weeks and I wanted to convey to you what a lifesaver the product really is. Context: a year ago, we had a major flood in our basement following a sump pump failure on a rainy, rotten winter night. Floods are miserable and ours was no different. Our alarm system flagged the problem at 3 am in the morning but we really had no way to stop the impending flood without a spare sump pump. And flood it did. A foot of water everywhere before we could get help to the house.   After the cleanup, my wife Janet (who is in the construction design business) had randomly gotten a CT Basement recommendation from one of her contractors.  Additional wrinkles in our story are 1) the water table on our property had moved / risen over time such that the pump would run every 10-15 minutes rain or shine 2) our country home often loses power from weather related storm damage and d) we had not (yet) invested in a full house generator.  And so rather than just replace the sump pump and hope, we elected to spend the extra money for the Triple Safe solution which included a battery back-up.  We made it through the first Nor'easter last week ok but the 15 inches of snow was too much for the neighborhood grid. We lost power, as did most of the neighborhood. Thankfully, the battery powered Triple Safe kicked in immediately and ran successfully for two full days until power was restored. And, in the context of our active sump, the back-up ran on battery power every 45 secs for 2-3 seconds for 48 hours straight -- keeping the basement high and dry. As an aside, I also drove to your first-class facilities in Seymour to buy another , battery from Brian Hammock, the CT tech, (who really ever knows how long it will take to restore power!!) and learned that a two or three battery configuration can be a part of the installation. Brian also walked me through the (easy) battery switch process in the event I had actually needed it.  Anyway, I can't recommend the product (and your company's service) enough, especially for generator-less folks like ourselves. It was a life saver and we really appreciate the innovation of the CT Basement solution.     Very very best, Ned and Janet Zachar Bedford, NY
