I have been working with Connecticut Basement Systems for years and have never had a negative experience with staff. Connecticut Basement Systems is a very nice and knowledgeable company!

We had a little bit of moisture in our basement which made it always a little moldy-ish and smelled musty. We didn’t have any water there but the basement is always moist because of the high humidity in our area and the basements are always colder. Basement Systems had a very nice and really good dehumidifier which we purchased and it has worked beautifully. Their salesperson wasn’t so much a salesperson as trying to see what we needed. He really was trying to help us. Their installation people were absolutely beautiful. Our basement is definitely drier and without that musty smell after having the dehumidifier installed. It was a very good experience, easy and painless.

I purchased a new home about a year ago, and there was a water issue in the basement which the previous homeowners neglected. They had do-it-yourself remedies done to try and solve it, but I was looking for a more permanent and decisive solution to the problem. I did some talking around, reached out to a couple of other companies, but they either didn't get back to me or they just wanted to try and do a survey over the phone without coming out to look at what was going on. On the other hand, Basement Systems seemed knowledgeable. They had a lot of good reviews, so I went online and gave them a call. They came out and did a survey, and were there within days to do the work. The team was great. It was a messy job putting in the sump pump, with the mud, rocks, and everything else, but they cleaned everything up. They took a lot of precautions from the beginning, like putting blankets down all the way from the door to where they were working. It was very clean, and I was very impressed. They did a fantastic job, and for the size of the problem that we had and how fast, clean, and thorough their work was, I felt that we got a good deal on it. The problem has been remedied, and I've recommended them to all the people who I know have similar problems in the area where I live.

Ismael was the best tech I have ever seen. He showed genuine concern for the problem I had and took the time to educate me on how to fix it. He gets a 10 out of 10 in my book. 

Dan Oestreich was a true professional. Not only was he informative and clear on what he was doing, he did it in a timely fashion while teaching a co-worker. Would recommend him to anyone. Plus, the crew left the place cleaner than they found it.
