This basement was taking on water. We installed a Waterguard and SuperSump Pump system to remove that water. Then we put in a Sanidry air purifier dehumidifier to keep the air dry and comfortable. On the outside of the house we installed a Iceguard to prevent water backup incase of pipe freezing during winter.
The old sump pump in this house was inadequate. It didn't pump enough water out of the home to keep it dry, and its lack of a lid meant that water could just evaporate back into the basment and make it more humid. In its place, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump system. The TripleSafe, in addition to having an airtight lid, features three different pumps for maximum protection against flooding.
