Basement Waterproofing in Bridgeport, CT

A Bridgeport, CT homeowner was experiencing water seepage in their basement. Their old sump pump was inactive, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Cary Benjamin, visited the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing solution.

Not long after, our Foreman, Marcio, and his crew were ready to install. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter, to capture water seepage. Then, our TripleSafe sump pump was installed to take the collected water and safely pump it out of the home. Our Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth.

Now, this basement is completely dry and will be all the time. The homeowner can now live with peace of mind.

Basement Waterproofing in Bridgeport

This Bridgeport Home had a non working sump pump in a hole with a plastic hose to suck up water when rain came in. As you can see that did not work very well and the basement would fill up with moisture and smell very bad. These happy customers contacted us here at CT Basement Systems and we had one of wonderful sales reps come out and fix the problem. In the place of the non working sump pump we put in our TripleSafe Sump Pump which has three levels of protection. Not only does it have 2 pumps to make sure your basement doesn't flood, but in the instance that the power goes out then the third pump backed up by battery takes over. We make sure that basements stay dry, and we will contact you when your yearly maintenance comes up.

Basement Window Replacement in Bridgeport, CT

The homeowners in this Bridgeport, CT home had an old metal rotting window. The window was not only an eyesore but it also allowed water to come in and had begun to damage the wall and floors. We installed one of our EverLast™ Windows to give it a facelift that will never rot, rust, decay, or need any paint. The purpose of a basement window is to bring natural light into the basement and if the windows are rotted and covered with debris then they are not doing their job.

With a clean, leak-proof window in their basement that lets in more light, the homeowner could not be any happier.

Crawlspace Waterproofing in Oxford, CT

A homeowner in Oxford, CT was getting water in their crawlspace and decided it was time to get this problem solved as it was causing a lot of damage. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us come out and fix this issue. After scheduling an appointment, it would then be time for one of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, to go out to the home to assess the issues and provide the proper solution for the job.

Once the job was proposed, it would then be time for one of our Foremen, Noel Harvey, and his team to tackle this project. They installed a SuperSump Plus to collect any water that comes into the crawlspace. This will be pumped out of the home through a discharge line. They also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier around the whole crawlspace to protect it from water damage and to direct any water coming in from the walls into the sump pump. They even installed SilverGlo insulation on the walls to protect this crawlspace and keep it energy efficient. Now this space is waterproofed and the customer no longer has to worry about future water damage.
