Basement Finishing Before & After Photos

A Trumbull, CT homeowner was looking to finish their open concept basement, so they reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems. One of our Salesmen, Cary Benjamin, went to the home to walk through our finishing process and help design their basement with our products. Our Project Manager, Dan Medina, also helped after the proposal was given to finalize any finishing touches, then, it would be time for installation. 

The basement was completely transformed. We installed our EverLast wall panels throughout, as well as our ThermalDry elite plank flooring. We installed two bathrooms and two closed-off rooms that they can utilize as a gym and home office. Then we installed a kitchenette as well. This basement is now ready to be used and is beautifully finished with recessed lighting, drop ceilings, and many more finishing touches. 

The homeowner was very thrilled with the results, and we're excited to use this space to its full potential! 

A homeowner in Bridgeport, CT had a basement that was dark and dull and was in need of an upgrade. They called us at Total Basement Finishing of CT to help turn their dreams into reality. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Keith Rongey, went to the home to understand what the customer was looking for. After developing a plan with the customer, it would soon be time for our crew to get to work. Our crew installed EverLast walls throughout the whole space. They also put in our Elite Plank flooring in light pecan, giving the space a bright, fresh look! New stairs were put in too. This project transformed the basement completely and made it into a livable space for this homeowner!

Damp basement conditions can easily ruin certain flooring materials –like plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and carpeting installed directly over a basement slab floor. It’s messy, expensive and discouraging to remove moisture-damaged materials from your basement. At Connecticut Basement Systems, we have a solution to this common problem: ThermalDry floor tiles. The high-density PVC plastic used to form the body of ThermalDry flooring tiles is strong, durable and immune to moisture damage! The underside of each ThermalDry tile features nubbed construction to create a drainage plane as well as a thermal break to shield your feet from the cold concrete floor.

The owners of this home wanted extra living space, but their basement was too cold and wet to be used for anything but storage. To create the perfect basement environment, we first had to waterproof the space. We installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement, and a TripleSafe sump pump to push the water out of the home. Next, we put ThermalDry carpeting on the floor, which keeps the floor 8-10 degrees warmer than the concrete underneath! Our ZenWall panels were the finishing touch on this Oxford home! 

Before our Total Basement Finishing team came in, this basement was mainly used as a storage area, as seen in the first picture. The homeowners, however, wanted to make use of this space as a home gym and media center. Ron Marra, a basemet expert, came in and helped the family decide what to do.

After Justin Vizard waterproofed the basement, Eric Dobrzycki worked on transforming the basement into a beautiful living space. He installed our Drop Ceiling Tiles, which are specifically made for basement environments and have a 30 year warranty against mold and sagging. The new basement also has EverLast wall panels, which are engineered to never get moldy or rot, unlike the traditional drywall.

The owners of this home were very happy with their new basement living space, which will last for years to come.
