A homeowner in Hamden, CT was experiencing common issues pertaining to basement moisture. With moisture undesirably puddling around the perimeter of the basement, leaving stains across the finished drywall, the homeowner knew he had to act.
Reaching out to Connecticut Basement Systems was the first step to upgrading his space into a desirable, dry space for his family. Upon making contact with Sales Consultant Steve Machnicz, the homeowner expressed his dreams for a dry, finished basement free from common moisture issues with a finished, polished look. By installing a SaniDry Dehumidifier, the air is filtered and free from moisture. With a WaterGuard French drain and TripleSafe sump pump installed along the perimeter prior to finishing the basement, the basement's waterproofing abilities improved drastically.
To polish off the basement and provide a finished look, Machnicz suggested EverLast wall panels and ThermalDry floor tiles. Once the proposal was signed off, Foreman Jahroume Gardener and his team began work.
Upon completion, the homeowner was thrilled with the transformation! Not only is his basement moisture-free, but also has a clean, stunning appearance that his family can cherish for years to come.
A homeowner in Hamden had an unfinished basement they wanted to turn into a liveable/usable space. They wanted to turn it into a rec room potentially. They called our Total Basement Finishing team of Connecticut Basement Systems to have us make this possible. After scheduling a free estimate, one of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin went out to the home to meet with the customer to develop a plan for how they wanted to transform their basement.
Once a plan and proposal were made, it would soon be time for the installation process to begin. One of our Foremen, Erik Dobrzycki, worked on this finishing project. He installed framing and our EverLast wall system. He installed our Elite Plank flooring in Light Pecan. He also installed new doors and one of our EverLast basement windows. He installed new pine stairs and installed a drop ceiling. One of our electricians, Sean Duffy, installed all things electrical. Once it was completed it it looked beautiful! Then the homeowner was able to decorate it and make it their own livable space and they were thrilled with the results.
EverLast Basement Wall Panels are greater in comparison to soft insulation wall finishing systems for basements. The result of two years of research and development, the construction of the TBF wall paneling makes for a durable, solid and long-lasting solution.
