A homeowner located in Watertown, CT expressed concerns regarding his cracked basement wall. Fearing the issue would prevail, he decided to reach out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.
Following the call, Sales Representative Steve Machnicz arrived at the home to assess the foundation and offer a potential solution.
Shortly later, Foreman Sergio Alves, Jacob Scott, and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. By installing CarbonArmor, carbon fiber strips epoxied to the wall, the homeowner's basement walls would gain additional strength and support. Following the install, the homeowner felt much more confident in the state of his basement walls!
A homeowner in Seymour, CT had a crawlspace with old support posts that were not supporting the home above. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a new, permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Alex Lopez, visited the home to assess the crawlspace and propose our SmartJack solution.
Soon after, one of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and his crew would install this job. They installed multiple SmartJacks throughout the crawlspace to ensure maximum stability and support. They will also help level sagging floors and strengthen them.
With these in place, the homeowner no longer needs to worry about any sagging or unstableness.
A homeowner in Derby, CT, was concerned with their foundation and the supports they had in their basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a new, permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Brad Glazer, went to the house to view the issues and propose our foundation solutions.
Not long after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Sergio, and installer Jacob to complete the job. First, they put up some temporary supports where they were needed, then removed the old support posts. Then they poured new footings, and once dry, installed two of our SmartJack support posts.
These steel beams ensure permanent support and stabilization to the entire home above, leaving the homeowner with great peace of mind.
A homeowner in Waterbury, CT had a settling foundation and cracks in their foundation. They made the right decision when they called our foundation supportworks team at Connecticut Basement Systems to come solve their problems. One of our Sales Consultants, Matt Kraus, went out to the home to estimate the issues and determine what our team would need to get done.
One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and Jacob Scott worked on this project. They would install 5 push piers below the footing of the foundation in order to make the home stable. They also used PolyLevel and injected it into the floor to ensure that the basement was stable and level. The cracks in the foundation were repaired and sealed. Now this basement will have a level and stable foundation moving forward!
Foundation Supportworks Push Piers are made of steel and are driven deep into the soil beneath a foundation to solve settlement problems. Push piers can be installed inside or outside your foundation walls and are not visible once the repair is complete. Push piers not only stop settlement but lift the foundation back to its original position, closing cracks and improving window and door operation.
