Before we arrived at this Enfield crawlspace, there was no insulation preventing air and moisture from entering the space. The solution for this Enfield crawlspace was to add rim joist insulation. Marcio Bahiense and his production team installed the spray foam insulation to the rim joists professionally and efficiently. The benefit to having the rim joists insulated with spray foam is that it acts as an effective barrier, protecting against air leakage and moisture. It also has superior R-value (R-6.2 to be exact), meaning that your home will be better insulated compared to traditional batt insulation. A homeowner in Madison, CT, had water and moisture issues in their crawlspace (low basement). They reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution. Our Salesman, Matt Kraus, visited the home to assess the space and propose our encapsulation system.
