When we arrived in this basement, it was a wet space. The moisture in the air was causing problems with rot and mold. While it's possible to remove mold, it will come back unless the basement is dry. To help with this, we installed the TripleSafe sump pump system. A sump pump in an integral part of a waterproofing system, as it rids the basement of any water that collects there. Our TripleSafe is the best choice for a sump pump; it includes an airtight lid, primary pump, secondary pump, and battery backup sump pump. This basement will remain dry for a long time, thanks to our products!
A homeowner in Berlin, CT, was getting water seepage in their basement, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. One of our Salesmen, Bret Citrin, visited the home to assess the issues and propose our waterproofing solution.
Shortly after, our Foreman, Al, and his crew installed this entire job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter, to capture the water seepage. Then our SuperSump Plus sump pump was installed in place of an old, unused pump to safely pump the captured water seepage out. Our Sedona dehumidifier was put in to eliminate excess moisture and overall prevent mold growth.
Now this basement is completely dry, and the homeowner is left with peace of mind.
Here we installed a Trenchdrain, Waterguard, and Triple Safe sump pump to remove water from the basement. To fix the water damages walls we put in Cleanspace walls to prevent any further damage. We also added an Iceguard system to prevent freezing during the long New England winters.
To fix this basements water problem we installed a Waterguard system as well as a SuperSump Pump to remove the water out and away from the basement.

We first installed our TrenchDrain along the entrance of the basement, to prevent any water coming in from the stairs from causing any damage. We then installed our WaterGuard and SuperSump, two products that work amazingly together. The WaterGuard drainage system is installed along the inside rim of the basement, and captures water before bringing it over to the SuperSump, which is designed for high-volume pumping. Once the basement was completely waterproofed, we went ahead and installed our ThermalDry Floor Tiles in the beautiful shade of Canyon Beige, so their basement could stay dry, while still looking attractive!
