A West Haven, CT homeowner was getting a lot of water seepage in their basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our Salesmen, Rob Brockenberry, visited the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing solutions.
Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Al, and his crew to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the perimeter to capture water seepage. Then they installed a 1/2 wall of our CleanSpace vapor barrier to help lead water from the walls into the drains below. Lastly, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance.
Now, the homeowner is happy and can live with peace of mind because their basement will stay dry from now on!
In this basement, water was backing up due to the old sump pump failing and not being able to handle the water coming in from the snow. The discharge line was held up by peices of string, and was too small. We were called and installed our Triplesafe sump pump. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about water backing up. If there is too much water for the first pump to handle then the second pump works at the same time from another discharge line. In addition what is great about the Triplesafe sump pump, is in the bad luck of a power outtage a battery pack and third pump take over, and can pump up to 12,000 gallons. All this added security wil complete your protection.

One of our Foremen, Garfield, and his crew installed this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter to capture any water seepage from the walls or below the floor. It then directs the water to our TripleSafe sump pump that they install. The TripleSafe then pumps any water safely out of the home and is installed because their old pump was not working to eliminate any water. Our Sedona dehumidifier, although not pictured, was installed to eliminate moisture and mold growth throughout the basement.
Now this basement is and will stay dry all the time.
