A homeowner in Stratford, CT was getting water seeping into their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us waterproof their basement completely. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin, went out to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution without waterproofing systems to keep their basement dry all the time.
Soon after the proposal was accepted, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew would tackle the installation of this project. They installed our WaterGuard drain system below the perimeter of the floor. This collects water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed one of our most reliable and strongest pumps, the TripleSafe. This will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. They also installed a half wall of CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect from moisture and to lead any water coming in from the walls into the WaterGuard. Now this basement will stay dry all the time.
In this basement we installed our CleanSpace wall liner. We also replaced the windows with Everlast windows, which are more energy efficent then the old ones.

Krzys Wilk and his production team installed the products professionally and efficiently on the day of production. The WaterGuard System (which is under the wet pavement in the after photo) will collect and channel the water to the sump pump before entering the basement. The Brightwall Panels will provide a moisture barrier which will prevent any water issues or smelly odors.
The homeowner was very impressed with the products and how well they worked together in her basement. Now she enjoys a clean, dry basement all year around.
