The solution for this home was to replace the sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump. For normal functioning, the Triple Safe has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller ½ horsepower pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over. Pump one is a heavy-duty, 1/3HP Zoeller pump that easily handles normal pumping volume -up to 2600 gal. per hour. Pump 2 is even more powerful (1/2HP) than Pump 1, turning on if it fails. It also includes a backup battery, totaling to an 11,000 gallon per hour pumping ability. We then went ahead and installed a Lawnscape, Iceguard, and Sanidry to further waterproof the home.
