Encapsulating a Crawlspace - Lakeville, CT

A homeowner in Lakeville, CT expressed interest in encapsulating his crawl space. Previously a cold, damp space, the homeowner wanted to ensure the space was protected against moisture. In need of an expert, he reached out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Don Godbout. Once Godbout arrived at the home, he explained the application of products such as our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SilverGlo insulation panels. These products work in tandem to mitigate moisture and adequately insulate the space.

Once approved, Foreman Delfino Mones and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Following a quick install, the homeowner feels much more confident in his crawlspace's appearance and waterproofing abilities!

Basement Waterproofing Darien, CT

This basement was having water problems. We added a Trenchdrain, DryTrak, and sump pump to remove water from the basement.

TripleSafe Sump Pump in Darien, CT

When we arrived at this home, we found that the existing sump pump kept clogging. Because of this, it was unable to pump water out of the basement. In its place, we installed the TripleSafe sump pump system. The TripleSafe includes a high-strength plastic sump liners instead of unlined sump pits. A liner does a better job of admitting water but keeping sediment and debris outside. Additionally, the TripleSafe's oversize plastic sump liner contains 3 sump pumps that can work together or separately depending on pumping demands. With the TripleSafe™ system, the owners don't have to worry about high pumping demands that can overwhelm or burn out single-pump systems. And if there's a power outage, the TripleSafe system will keep operating, thanks to a battery-powered backup pump.

WaterGuard System in Darien, CT

This Darien basement was damp, cold and had a musty odor. The homeowner wanted a solution to solve all of his basement concerns. After doing some research, he decided to call the experts at Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut!

On the day of the appointment, Keith Rongey, was the Sales Representative who arrived at the home to perform the home evaluation. After his inspection, he concluded that a WaterGuard System would be the perfect product to ensure that water would not enter the basement. The homeowner was impressed with the product and thought it was the best option for his basement needs. With no time to waste, he scheduled a date for production to install the WaterGuard System.

Sid and his production crew arrived at the home on the day of the production date and installed the WaterGuard System professionally and efficiently. Just look at the difference in the before and after photos! The WaterGuard System is installed on the perimeter of the basement floor underground. The system catches and channels the water away from the basement by directing it to the sump pump, where it is discharged through a discharge line.

With this product, the homeowner should not experience any water which will decrease the musty odor. This system solved all of the homeowner’s concerned and he now enjoys a clean, dry basement thanks to Connecticut Basement Systems!

TripleSafe Sump Pump in Darien, CT

This Darien basement had constant water issues. Their old sump pump was just not able to keep up. The homeowner knew he would need a system to keep his basement dry all year around, so he decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems.

The experts at Connecticut Basement Systems installed a WaterGuard System paired with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The WaterGuard System channels the water that would have entered the basement and brings it to the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe (as seen in the after photo) has 3 pumps that make this system so unique. The first pump takes care of everyday water, handling up to 2,600 gallons of water per hour. The second pump can handle more of the heavy-duty water, pumping up to 6,200 gallons of water per hour, which is activated in heavy waters or if the first pump fails. The third pump is battery operated and is automatically turned on if there happens to be a power outage.

With this system in place, the homeowner now has a peace of mind and can enjoy his dry basement!
