Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in West Hartford, CT was getting water into their basement through the walls. They made the right decision and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to come out and solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Jimmy Stablein, met with the customer in their home to estimate the issues and develop a proposal for the work. 

Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his team to tackle the job. The team installed a WaterGuard system around the perimeter. Then they also installed our TripleSafe sump pump. These would work together to collect any water seeping in and then have it pumped out of the home through a discharge line at a safe distance. Now this home is dry and the homeowner can expect no water in the future!

They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement to capture water seepage from the walls and below the floors. Then our TripleSafe sump pump was installed to take the collected water and safely pump it out of the home.

These systems will work together to collect the water that comes in through the basement and then will get pumped out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. Now this basement will be dry and protected from any future water damage. 

A customer in Northford, CT reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems because they had water seepage in their basement and needed a permanent solution. 

One of our Sales Consultants, Josh Kroop, went to the home to evaluate the issues and propose a full perimeter waterproofing system. 

Our Foreman, Moises Chantes, and his crew installed this job. In this before and after you see our WaterGuard drainage system that is below the floor (under the new cement) that will collect water and direct it into our sump pump. The SuperSump Plus that we installed will pump out all of that collected water from the home at a safe distance. Not pictured is another sump pump with our battery backup system as well as our Sedona dehumidifier. This was a large basement, so multiple of our products were needed to ensure this entire basement stayed dry all the time!

EverLast half wall restoration was installed since the original walls had water damage. Finally, ThermalDry Parquet tile was installed to replace the original carpet. This new floor not only looks great, but is warmer and will not allow floor seepage to rise into the finished area.
