Basement Finishing Photo Album: Basement Finishing in Broad Brook, CT
A homeowner in Broad Brook, CT had just gotten their basement waterproofed by us and decided they also wanted to get their basement finished. They reached back out to us and our Total Basement Finishing team to come in and transform their basement. One of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin, who originally sold them the waterproofing job, met with the customer to develop a plan for what they would like to have done to the basement. After a plan was created, one of our Project Managers Dan Medina, would approve the plans. Once all was ready, would soon be time for our crew to work on the installation.
One of our Foremen, Sheldon Lennon, and his team started the installation. They began with framing and walls, and we installed our EverLast perimeter wall system. This is an insulated wall system that will keep the temperatures regulated throughout the basement. These walls are durable and are paintable so that if a customer changes their mind on a color, it can be an easy change. Then they installed new doors throughout the space.
Dan Medina would stop in the job regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly and the customer was always satisfied with the work.
They created a few smaller rooms within the large basement to create different spaces for different uses. They installed a drop ceiling as well as trims throughout the basement. 4 of our EverLast basement windows were installed, helping to brighten up the space. Sheldon installed Elite Plank flooring in light pecan as well as our carpet tiles. This is a great, safe option for kids to play. Once the walls were painted, this basement turned into a beautiful, usable space, perfect for this homeowner's needs.
Before Finishing
This homeowner had just waterproofed their basement and was looking to finish it as well to turn it into a usable space.
EverLast Walls, Elite Plank floors, Post wraps
Our crew installed our EverLast insulated wall panels. These come in a paintable option. They installed our Elite Plank flooring in light pecan. This brings a beautiful new look to once concrete floors and now makes this basement stand out! The existing posts were wrapped with our wall panels as well to give a nice sleek look to the basement.
Unfinished Section
This is an area that the homeowner wanted to use to create a separate area for their kids to be able to play.
Carpet Tiles and Doors
Our crew installed half of a door to ensure the space was closed off, but not completely, so that little kids were able to be in a perfect little play area. The carpet tiles give a safe, cozy look to this area of the basement. There is still a great flow into the main area of the basement.
Doors
Our crew installed multiple new doors throughout the space to create storage rooms and break the space up.
