This basement had a constant water problem that would disrupt the functionality of this home. Tired of a wet basement, the homeowner decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution.
The solution to this basement was to install a full perimeter WaterGuard system to prevent water to enter the area. This system is installed around the perimeter of the basement and will collect water internally and channel it to the sump pump. The sump pump will then discharge the water away from the home. CleanSpace liner was also installed on the half wall around the basement to prevent any moisture or water from the coming through the walls. (You can see the liner in the after photo) This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was pleased with the results!
This basement had drywall damage from water. We removed all the drywall and replaced it with our CleanSpace walls to prevent any further water damage.
This Scarsdale, NY basement used to have a water problem until we came in. We installed a SuperSump sump pump. Once the cement around it dries, the combination of the SuperSump and DryTrak perimeter drain will give the owner of this home a dry basement and peace of mind.
Old sump pumps without covers like this one allow water vapor to evaporate back into the basement, creating more basement problems like mold. With the airtight lid on the SuperSump that we installed in its place, we were able to keep water in the sump pump system, and also keep out any dirt and debris that could clog a sump pump.
This company in Scarlsdale, NY was in need of a new waterproofing method, as their old sump pump was beginning to back up, causing their basement to flood and become damaged. They needed a permanent solution, so they decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call!
Our System Design Specialist, Rick Raucci, came out and quickly offered a fool proof solution to their water damage problems. Kryz Wilk and his team came out and they got right to work! They first installed our SuperSump along with the UltraSump back up battery. The SuperSump is a top-rated Zoeller pump, and is designed for high reliability and pumping. By adding the UltraSump back up, the battery-powered pump will come on automatically if the primary pump isn't doing its job for any reason. To make the space look cleaner and brighter, we went ahead and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. This will reduce moisture and humidity in the space, and will help seal out cold drafts this upcoming winter!
This company now has a cleaner, much safer space, and we were happy to provide it to them! Give us a call TODAY for your free waterproofing estimate!

The existing drainage system didnt take this water into account, and the basement became wet and humid. We installed the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the room. Once the cement above the WaterGuard dries, the owners of this home will have a long-lasting and effective solution to their water problems.
When we arrived in this basement, it was damp and leaky. Water was seeping through the walls and wall-floor joint. To help to waterproof the basement, we installed the WaterGuard perimeter drain.
