Connecticut Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Kent, CT was getting water in their basement. They made the right decision when they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a solution to their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Brian DiRisi, went to the home to assess the issues and provide the right systems that will protect this basement for the long term. 

Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Marcial Lopez, and his crew to install this project. They installed a WaterGuard drainage system below the floor to collect any water coming in from the floors or the walls. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump which takes that collected water and pumps it out of the home at a safe distance. This sump pump works with three pumps, one of which is a battery backup, making it our strongest sump pump. These systems work together to keep any water out of this basement. They also installed a SaniDry XP, one of our dehumidifiers, to protect the basement from excess moisture and mold growth. Now this basement is dry and the homeowner no longer needs to worry about future water damage.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Don Godbout. Once Godbout arrived at the home, he explained the application of products such as our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SilverGlo insulation panels. These products work in tandem to mitigate moisture and adequately insulate the space.

Once approved, Foreman Delfino Mones and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Following a quick install, the homeowner feels much more confident in his crawlspace's appearance and waterproofing abilities!

Here we used a Trench Drain system to direct water out of the garage. BrightWall was also added to keep the walls from molding and brighten up the space. We also used an IceGuard system to prevent water from backing up during cold connecticut winters.
