Foundation Repair Photo Album: Push Piers in Hebron, CT
A homeowner in Hebron had a foundation that was settling and shifting, so they called us to find them a proper solution to the problem. One of our Sales Consultants, Tim Kane, went out to the home to assess the issues and write up a proposal for the work our crew would do.
One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and Jacob Scott, worked on this job. They installed push pier brackets below the footing of the foundation, after digging a trench. Then they hydraulically drove steel piers through the bracket and into the ground. Once a certain pressure and stabilization is reached, they they stop pushing and cap off each bracket that they installed. Now the home is stabilized and lifted into position, so now the homeowner no longer needs to worry about their foundation settling anymore.
Settling Foundation
Here you can see how badly the foundation was settling from the rest of the home.
Lifted and Stabilized
Here you can see how the push piers lifted the foundation and put it back into place.
Push Pier
This is what one of the capped-off push piers looks like before backfilling. It sits below the footing and is set in place, making this a permanent solution.
