The solution for this basement was to first address the mold problem. Mold X2 was the solution for the current mold. This product is applied to the contaminated surface and removes the mold. However, in order to truly prevent mold from growing back, the basement must stay dry. The solution for this was to install a SaniDry Sedona and BrightWall panels. The SaniDry Sedona is a dehumidifier that will keep the basement humidity below 55% which will make the air healthier and prevent mold.
