A Norwalk, CT homeowner was getting water seepage in their basement when it would rain. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Alex Lopez, visited the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing system as a solution.
Soon after, one of our Foremen, Moises, and his crew were ready to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor around the entire perimeter to capture water seepage from the walls. Then, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on half the wall to protect it from moisture. Our Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth throughout the basement.
Now this entire basement will stay completely dry all the time, ensuring the homeowner has great peace of mind.
This Brookfield basement had dreary and outdated windows. Not only were the windows unattractive, but there were many holes and cracks in the window that would allow air and moisture to flow through. With this unwanted airflow and moisture, the basement became a dreary and unwelcoming area. Wanting a solution, the homeowner decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution for this basement was to install new windows. Our EverLast windows are the best there are, offering a double pane insulation that will ensure no drafts. Once an appointment was made, it would be time for one of our Sales Consultants Jimmy Stablein to go out to the home to assess the issues and propose a long-term solution.
The next step would be for one of our Foremen, Sid Avis, and his team to install this project. They installed a two-stage waterproofing system, which includes our DryTrak drain system and our WaterGuard drain system as well. This will collect any water coming in from the floors and walls and then direct it into a sump pump. The specific sump pump proposed for this job was a SuperSump Plus. This will take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a discharge line. Then our crew installed a Sedona dehumidifier to protect the basement from moisture and mold growth. Now with our systems, this basement will stay dry and no longer have water damage.
As you can see from the before picture, this basement was having serious flooding problems. To fix the problem we installed a SuperSump Pump; which will remove the water from the room. We also installed CleanSpace walls to the first 2' of the walls to prevent any further damage from water.

They also installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump to take any water coming in and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They installed a Sedona dehumidifier as well to eliminate moisture and mold growth. The walls were also insulated with our SilverGlo panels. Now this space is a dry and healthy space!
