They called our experts at Connecticut Basement Systems/Total Basement Finishing to take care of the problem! First, we cut and removed the bottom of the walls, to remove any damage that mold may have caused, before beginning our waterproofing process. In order to guide the water out of the home, we first installed our Trench Drain system, so it would be captured upon entrance. To keep the water from seeping through the walls, we made sure to install our WaterGuard drainage channel, and our TripleSafe Sump Pump to make sure that this basement was completely water free! Finally, once the space was completely mold proof, we went ahead and installed Everlast Wall Panels, made from inorganic materials which do not support mold growth.
