Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Greenwich, CT was struggling with water in their basement until they decided to call us at Connecticut Basement Systems. One of our Sales Consultants Stephen Singley went out to the home to assess the issues. Then one of our Foremen, Krzysztof Wilk, and his team got to work on this project. The crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump as well as WaterGuard and our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. These will work together to keep the space completely waterproof. The sump pump will pump all the water out of the home at a safe distance. This customer no longer has to worry about water in their basement!

Then, one of our foreman, Moises Chantes, and his team installed the WaterGuard drainage system below the floor perimeter to collect water, directing it to a TripleSafe sump pump system with three pumps, including a battery backup. They also installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls to prevent moisture and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control humidity.

This Greenwich home had a wet basement. The dampness was causing the area to have a musty odor which made it an uncomfortable area to be in. The solution to this wet basement was to install a WaterGuard system. This system is installed below the floor and is sealed up with cement. (as you can see in the after the photo) The WaterGuard system collects the water internally and channels it to the sump pump. The water is exited through a discharge line outside the basement. CleanSpace Liner was also installed on the walls of the basement to prevent moisture from entering the basement. With little moisture in the basement, the musty odor will be reduced.
