During a before trip to this Hartsdale, NY home, our crew left covered in dirt, climbing over debris. The all dirt floor and lack of insulation insulation made this space a major concern for potential moisture and pests. On top of these issues, air entering the crawl space would directly affect how well the home stayed warm or cold. This crawl space was in need of CleanSpace flooring, SilverGlo insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona to keep things dry and comfortable within the home.
After, TerraBlock flexible insulation was installed, followed by CleanSpace WallCap to help seal the block wall in the crawl space. The block wall was followed by CleanSpace Draining Matting was installed under the CleanSpace liner. To finish things off, a SaniDry Sedona was placed in the crawl space to prevent any moisture or dampness. Now, the space is both bright and clean. The rest of the home will remain comfortable.
When we arrived at this home, the crawlspace was wet and debris-filled. It was letting unconditioned air into the house, increasing energy costs for the homeowners. By encapsulating the space with the CleanSpace vapor barrier, we were able to seal the crawlspace off from the outside and prevent mold-causing humidity from entering the home. The owners of this house now have a clean, dry, energy-efficient crawlspace environment!
The moisture in this Norwalk, CT crawlspace caused the fiberglass insulation to grow heavy and fall, where it became a perfect place for mold to grow. Fiberglass insulation is not the best choice for a space where moisture is a problem. Our SilverGlo insulation is different; it creates a vapor barrier on the walls that keeps moisture from making its way inside. SilverGlo is the ideal crawlspace insulation!
This old crawlspace used to have a moisture problem. Water and water vapor would seep into the home, causing the fiberglass insulation to grow heavy and fall. We put in new insulation to replace it. However, SilverGlo wall insulation and TerraBlock floor insulation won't absorb moisture, support mold or deteriorate over time, making them perfect for this crawlspace! They work alongside the CleanSpace vapor barrier to create a dry crawlspace environment that will last for years to come!
This Brewster basement had traditional fiber glass insulation that was poorly installed and was not controlling the heat and cool air throughout the home properly. This caused the home to have uneven temperatures and a high electric bill. They wanted a solution to make sure air leakage is totally prevented. They decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call to help find them a solution.
The experts at Connecticut Basement Systems installed Spray Foam on the ceiling of the basement. Spray Foam was the best option for this home because it effectively fills voids and odd-shaped spaces, meaning that you will always get total coverage. This product will stop air leakage, making it effective at saving the home owners money through their electricity bill. Lastly, Spray Foam will not absorb moisture or lose R-value like fiberglass.
Now that their basement ceiling is completely Spray Foamed, these happy homeowners enjoy consistent temperatures throughout the home and a lower electric bill!

Before, this homeowner’s basement relied on an outdated and unreliable sump pump to prevent flooding and maintain a clean, dry environment. With only one pump, this old sump pump would be useless in the case of a mechanical failure or power outage.
Our Foreman, Marcial Lopez, ensured that the pump has been replaced by Connecticut Basement Systems’ most reliable sump pump – the TripleSafe. This unique sump pump comes with three separate pumps to keep your home safe in any situation. If the primary pump is overwhelmed by extremely heavy waters, then the secondary pump will kick in and assist it. Even in the case of a power outage, a battery-operated backup pump will activate to keep the basement dry. Now the homeowner can find peace of mind in knowing that his basement is well protected from heavy rainfall and water damage.

This bright, white vapor barrier completely transforms a crawl space, while also working to reduce moisture and humidity within the crawl space. We also installed a SaniDry dehumidifier, which is designed to provide many years of energy-efficient, trouble-free performance, even in tough crawl space conditions. SilverGlo rigid foam insulation was also installed. This rigid foam insulation shed water instead of soaking it up like cellulose and fiberglass insulation. The best part? This crawl space in Coventry, CT was dirty, cold and had a lot of moisture which was a concern to the homeowner. Wanting a solution for his crawl space, he called the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems and scheduled an appointment.
Our Sales Representative, Steve Godbout, arrived at the home on the day of the appointment and concluded that a CleanSpace Liner would be the perfect solution for this crawl space. A CleanSpace Liner prevents air and moisture from entering the crawl space. The benefit of air and moisture not entering the crawl space is that the floors in the home directly above will be noticeably warmer. The homeowner approved of this proposal and could not wait for his clean, dry crawl space.
On the day of production, Cisco and Josh installed the CleanSpace Liner efficiently and professionally. In this Pawcatuck house, heavy rains always resulted in water in the basement much to the homeowners' dismay. At first, the homeowners bought two off-the-shelf sump pumps but when that didn't solve the problem effectively, they decided to call the experts at CT Basement Systems. We installed our WaterGuard French Drain System, which collects leaking water from the walls, features an anti-clog design, is installed out of the "mud zone" and includes a written lifetime warranty.
Once any leaking or seeping water is collected by the drainage system, it now automatically drains into the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, our premier sump pump solution. The TripleSafe, like the name implies, has three pumps. The first pump does the initial pumping when there is any water in the basement; if there is too much water for the first pump to handle, then the second pump kicks in. If the power goes out (it does happen!), the battery-powered third pump turns on and is able to pump enough water to fill half a swimming pool!
The homeowners can rest assured that they will no longer have water problems in their basement!
