He relocated to the east coast to switch gears and work for a S.C.U.B.A. equipment manufacturer based in Rapallo, Italy in their North American headquarters based in Norwalk, CT. He is a certified S.C.U.B.A. instructor (NAUI) and was the Northeast sales representative as well as the Manager for Marketing and Advertising for the North American division. After his managerial and marketing role, he transitioned to Business Development Executive for one of the largest private jet management companies in the world, and afterward, created his own consultancy in aviation and business development.}

Had a new sump pump installed and have had an awful experience. The sump pump itself works, however, The installation team missed routing a hose back into the new well and our basement had a large water leak on day 1. They also forgot to leave the backup battery we purchased with the unit. The worst part is where they chose to route the new ejection site in the backyard. The new sump runs every 2 minutes and now we have a flood zone in the backyard that is overflowing into the neighbors yard. Where the water ejects from the house also floods immediately next to the house. We received conflicting reports from different people at CT basements, but most of them say there’s nothing they can do about it. So now we are stuck with a flooded yard which is inching towards the house, angry neighbors and another $5,000 bill to get the drainage fixed. Edit: added photos for reference.

Hired to remove 2 old small sumps and install their large single sump for a two-submersible-pump sump system. They were to leave a 3rd sump of mine untouched. But the workers removed it anyway despite my reminding them not to, and despite it being noted in the plans by our salesman. The new sump and pump system installation is excellent. Very nice job, and they cleaned up after themselves. Once the company knew what the workers had done to my 3rd sump, they sent workers to install a replacement at no extra charge. Had there not been the 3rd sump removal issue, I would have rated Connecticut Basement Systems a full 5-stars. But, had they not fixed the mix up to my satisfaction, I would have rated them 3-stars at most. So, kudos for making things right.
