A homeowner in Thomaston, CT was getting water in their basement, causing water damage. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Tony Van Deusen, went out to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution.
The next step would be the installation. One of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his team would work on this project. They began by installing a WaterGaurd drain system below the floor to catch any water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump. This works with three pumps (a primary, secondary, and battery backup). Any water collected from the drains goes into the sump and then gets pumped out of the home at a safe distance through a discharge line. They also installed a half wall of CleanSpace vapor barrier that will protect the walls.
This basement is now dry and the homeowner no longer has to worry about water damage!

TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our crew installed a TripleSafe sump pump to ensure all water that comes in gets pumped out of the home. This pump uses 3 pumps; a primary, secondary, and battery backup in case of any outages. This means that no matter the circumstance, these pumps will be working to discharge any water that comes in.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
Our crew installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain which is crucial because this is where any water goes that comes in through the walls or floors. It then drains it into the sump pump. A CleanSpace half wall was installed that acts as a vapor barrier, protecting the basement even one step further.
