CT Basement systems performed some basement work last month and it was a very good experience. Initially, the sales guy (Brad) did a careful inspection and we discussed a plan and a price for the work. Everyone starting with the sales guy, Brad and the admin people like Diane provided a professional experience. Once the job was scheduled all teams arrived on time, in a well marked "Connecticut Basement" truck and worked quickly. They kept a very clean job site so I had no cleanup. The second team was sent to inspect and insure the work could continue on schedule, "measure twice and cut once" another confidence building step. The work was completed yesterday and again a very clean job site, my home and no clean up for me. They deliver good work at a good price with a lot of knowledge and experience. I would recommend them for any basement work.

Overall I was very pleased with the quality of the work performed. Only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that the cleanup of the basement was less than what I was expecting given that management said the basement would be very clean after the job was finished. There were many areas of hand marks of dirt and grime on the basement walls and allot of extra dust which was left for me to clean. The first day of work the crew forgot to bring their vent fan which made the work area more dusty than it should have been. Also, the crew was understaffed for the amount of work required to do the job which led to several of the trench locks missing (crew forgot to install) several vital parts to complete the job. A quick call to CT Basement Systems Production staff was all that was needed to correct this problem at a later date. Electrical work was done on time and as expected. In spite of the work crew staffing issue the crew did a great job. I definitely would recommend CT BS to friends and family.

6/2/26 Eric called prior to coming and was prompt with his arrival. He was very thorough and explained all procedures he performed. He also mentioned and applied a discount for paying by check. Excellent job! Thanks again.

Tech arrived in the estimated timeframe, and he efficiently accomplished his tasks. He was very polite, and very knowledgeable in answering any question I had. I highly recommend Connecticut Basement Systems.

Sheldon and team did an absolutely magnificent job finishing our basement. He paid attention to every detail and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final product. He is an absolute pro and knows his work inside and out. If you are finishing your basement, go with this company. While the quote might be a bit higher, you get what you pay for. We couldn't be happier with the way our basement finishing turned out!

They ONLY make appointments during the week with the latest time slot being 1pm. Do they only service retirees? It's ridiculous. I had to take a day off from work for them to pick up a unit (I thought they would be fixing it that day). Now it will be 4 months (!!!!!!) from when they picked it up to when they will deliver it again, due to their awful scheduling. Completely unacceptable.

Fantastic service from Eric Hanson on our dehumidifier. Eric exemplifies the 5-star service you can expect from CT Basement. We had our basement refinished several years ago and had a Sedona Dehumidifier installed. That dehumidifier is incredible, runs all year and keeps the basement very comfortable. This year during the service, I mentioned to Eric the condensate pump was working slowly. He spent a great deal of time here diagnosing the problem, he replaced the entire condensate line and refoamed the rim joist and outer gap on siding of house that was removed during installation of new line. His "can do" customer service attitude epitomizes all things CT Basement stands for. Our work was awesome in the basement, and the follow-up just as good. We have gotten so much more use from the basement after the refinish.
