This old home gym was poorly lit and drab, with exposed ducts and pipes. Our team installed a mold-resistant dropped ceiling and the EverLast wall system to transform the basement into a comfortable, beautiful space to work out in.

Ceramic and vinyl basement tiles leave basement floors cold. They contain no thermal break between the concrete of your floor and your living space. Each ThermalDry Floor Tile rests on top of plastic pegs. By doing so, a thermal break is created underneath, which makes your floor's surface 8-10°F warmer than the cold concrete surface below, and they look great! 

When we came into this Greenwich home, the basement was too cold to be used for anything but storage. Our ThermalDry floor tiles made the floor 8-10 degrees warmer than the concrete underneath. The owners of this home now have a warm, great-looking living space!

This Greenwich, CT home was suffering from a multitude of problems, including a flooding problem in their basement that was beginning to create mold on the home's walls. They called our experts at Connecticut Basement Systems/Total Basement Finishing to take care of the problem! First, we cut and removed the bottom of the walls, to remove any damage that mold may have caused, before beginning our waterproofing process. In order to guide the water out of the home, we first installed our Trench Drain system, so it would be captured upon entrance. To keep the water from seeping through the walls, we made sure to install our WaterGuard drainage channel, and our TripleSafe Sump Pump to make sure that this basement was completely water free! Finally, once the space was completely mold proof, we went ahead and installed Everlast Wall Panels, made from inorganic materials which do not support mold growth. These homeowners can now enjoy their space for years to come!
