A homeowner in Canterbury, CT, was experiencing water issues in their basement. They reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent waterproofing solution. We sent one of our Sales Consultant, Michael Bourdeau, to assess the issue and devise a plan to resolve it.
When it was time for the installation, one of our Foreman, Chavon Bowman, and his crew got to work. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system beneath the floor to capture all incoming water. Then, they installed our Super Sump pump, which efficiently pumps water out of the home. Lastly, they installed our XL Trench Drain, designed to span doorways, hatchway entrances, and similar entryways. This drain collects water through its openings and redirects it to the sump pump. Now, this basement is completely dry, and the homeowner can be worry-free!
Before, this Jewett City basement had walls that were not finished which made the area look dull and uninviting. Wanting an upgrade, the homeowners decided to have Total Basement Finishing, a division of Connecticut Basement Systems, provide the best solution for them.
The solution was to install EverLast wall panels to the area, making the entire space more attractive. This product is not only attractive but is durable and waterproof making it practical for the basement. Just look at the difference, amazing! These two systems work in tandem to mitigate moisture, with the self-emptying SaniDry feeding moisture into the SuperSump Plus, where it is expelled at a safe distance from the house.
On the day of the install, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived, immediately getting to work removing the old sump pump. Following a quick install, the crawl space's waterproofing abilities were enhanced!
