A homeowner located in Oakville, CT had a wet crawlspace that needed encapsulating. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Brian DiRisi, went to the home to assess the crawlspace and propose an encapsulation solution.
Then it would be time for one of our Foremen, Garfield, and his crew to install the proposed work. They installed our Drainage Matting on top of the ground. Then they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on top of that to eliminate water and moisture and prevent it from damaging the crawlspace. Then they installed our Sedona dehumidifier to eliminate moisture in the air and prevent mold growth by lowering the relative humidity.
Now this crawlspace is dry, clean, and musty-odor-free, leaving the homeowner with nothing but peace of mind.
A homeowner in Beacon Falls, CT was looking to have their crawlspace waterproofed, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. One of our Sales Consultants, Jason Waldek, went to the house to estimate the problems. Our foreman Marcial Lopez and his team went to install our products. They put in our CleanSpace throughout the space. They also installed a Sedona Dehumidifier. With these products and some of our other waterproofing products, this crawlspace is now moisture-free and the homeowner no longer has to worry about water vapor getting into the space.
For homes in flood zones, including this one from Milford, CT, it's often beneficial for basements to have flood vents. These vents help equalize water pressure between the inside and outside of the house, preventing foundation collapse. However, openings in the basement can also let dirt, humidity, or pests into the home. The SmartVent we installed will remain closed until flood waters reach it. Not only did we protect this basement, but saved the homeowners money by reducing their flood insurance costs!
A homeowner in Milford, CT was looking to have their crawlspace encapsulated due to moisture in the space. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to get an estimate for a solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Mick Foster, went to the home to assess the issues and provide a permanent solution for the crawlspace.
One of our crews, including Foremen, Chavon Bowman, installed this job. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the entire crawlspace, on the walls and floors. This will act as a vapor barrier from moisture and keep this space smelling fresh and healthy, instead of musty. This homeowner no longer has to worry about their crawlspace being a victim to moisture to water damage.
Before we arrived at this Milford home, the crawlspace was dirty, cold and damp. The homeowner was looking to upgrade her crawlspace to ensure that her home will run efficiently. A major concern that she wanted to resolve was the moisture and air entering the crawlspace since that will directly affect the efficiency of the home. She did her research and decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call.
In order to solve the homeowner’s main concern, Sid Avis and his production team installed CleanSpace liner professionally and efficiently. The benefit of the CleanSpace liner is that it acts as a moisture barrier so it will keep out water and air. It also gives the crawlspace a clean, fresh look which is something that the homeowner wanted.
Now that the crawlspace has the CleanSpace liner, the homeowner now enjoys an efficient home thanks to Connecticut Basement Systems! Just look at the transformation, incredible!
