A homeowner in Hamden, CT, was dealing with water seepage in their basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems in search of a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Cary Benjamin, went out to the home to evaluate the space and propose our comprehensive waterproofing system as a solution.
Not long after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Marcial, and his team to install the proposed work. They put in our WaterGuard drainage system to capture water seepage. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on half the wall to protect from moisture and water. Then our TripleSafe was put in to collect water seepage and safely pump it out of the home.
Now, with our system in place, this whole basement will stay dry all the time, leaving the homeowner with peace of mind.
Before, this Cheshire basement had constant water problems that would frustrate the homeowner every time she entered the area. The main problem was an insufficient sump pump that was not discharging the water properly. This would result in a wet basement. She wanted a solution for a dry basement and reached out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution for this Cheshire basement was to install a WaterGuard system paired with a TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard is a below the floor system that collects water internally before it enters the basement. Once the water is collected, it is channeled to the TripleSafe sump pump where it is discharged away from the home. The great benefit of the TripleSafe is that it has a three-pump system that adjusts automatically to meet pumping requirements. The power of these two products create a dry basement which is exactly what the homeowner had wanted!
