Crawlspace waterproofing and vapor seal.
In this Southport, CT basement, there had been previous issues with the home's sump pump as well as there being a very outdated dehumidifier that was not performing nearly as well as other dehumidifers nowadays. Once the homeowner's realized these 2 problems, they decided to make a call to Connecticut Basement Systems with regards to having these two machines replaced.
Once CBS received the call, we quickly were able to bring over our newest sump pump and SaniDry dehumidifier. All that needed to be done was the installation which our team was able to do in a very timely fashion. With these two issues fixed, the homeowners had a much more reliable system in their basement and they were very gratfeul for the quick and professional work we did for them.
When we arrived in this home, we found that water was leaking inside through the garage door. When we encounter this kind of situation, we usually recommend our TrenchDrain drainage pipe system. It is uniquely designed to span doorways, garage entrances, and similar entryway doors. TrenchDrain resembles half of a basement drainage pipe, with a grated opening fitted snugly on top. In this home, we installed this grated drain flush with the floor, eliminating any tripping hazard. Any water that will pass over the drain is collected through the openings and redirected to the sump pump. The owners of this house can rest easy knowing that their garage is protected against leaks!
The homeowners in this Franklin home had a continuing water problem in their basement. The basement would have water coming in during heavy rains and would pool in the basement since there wasn't an existing sump pump or drain system to take it out of the home. The homeowners contacted the experts at CT Basement Systems and all the water problems are gone! We installed our WaterGuard® system. Our drain system is an award winning patented drain system that carries the water effectively into our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System. Our Sump pump system has three pumps to make sure that all of the water that comes in is pumped out of the home. The first pump which sits lowest of the three pumps first, but if it can't keep up the second pump will turn on and run at the same time. If the power goes out then the third pump which is battery operated kicks on while an alarm is ringing to let you know that it's running.
The home owner now has zero waterproofing issues.
In this Danbury, CT home, the family residing in it was experiencing moisture problems that were less than pleasant. Water was leaking through the walls, causing mold and grime to form along its edges. They decided to give us a call at Basement Systems, and we were happy to come in to fix their problems!
Our expert foreman, Kryz Wilk, and his team came in, and immediately began to solve their problems. First, they installed our SuperSump waterproofing system. This sump pump includes an air tight lid that keeps out pest and debris, providing a long lasting waterproofing system that is unlikely to overheat and clog. We then installed our DryTrak wall lining to the perimeter of the basement's walls. Ground water that seeps through basement walls will flow down toward the floor, causing unsightly mold and grime. The DryTrak® drainage channel is designed to capture this water leakage before it reaches the basement floor. Best of all? Its pairs perfectly with the SuperSump, making it a perfect waterproofing solution for this home!
This family now has a basement that is not only attractive to look at, but safe from any leakage! Give us a call to get your free quote today!
