Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Salem, CT, was experiencing persistent water seepage in their basement, so they decided to reach out to us for a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Brian Dirisi, went to the home to assess the basement and propose our basement waterproofing system. 

Shortly after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Garfield, and his team to install the job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter, to capture water seepage. Then they installed our BrightWall to waterproof the walls and make them look beautiful. Next, our TripleSafe sump pump takes the collected water and safely pumps it out of the home. Then our Sedona dehumidifier was put next to the sump pump to ensure all excess moisture is eliminated and mold growth is prevented. 

Now this basement is equipped with a full perimeter system to ensure it will stay dry all the time, leaving the homeowner with peace of mind. 

This Niantic home had constant water entering the basement and moisture was seeping through the walls. This was causing the home to become unpleasant with its dampness and musty odor. The homeowner wanted a clean, dry basement so she could utilize her space. She decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems to help find her a solution. 

The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard system paired with CleanSpace. The WaterGuard system will collect the water internally and channel it to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. (TripleSafe Sump Pump is seen in the after photo.) The water is then withdrawn from the sump pump and exits through the discharge line (white pipe in after photo.) This system will keep the basement dry. We also installed a CleanSpace liner to prevent moisture from seeping through the walls. With minimal moisture, the musty odor will be eliminated.  

Once all these products were installed, the basement transformed into a healthier and cleaner area. This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was thrilled with the products and her transformed basement.

They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter to capture seepage from the walls and below the floors. Then they installed a half wall of our CleanSpace vapor barrier, tucked into the drains to protect the walls and help lead water in the system. Finally, our TripleSafe sump pump was put in to take the collected water and safely pump it out of the home. 

This system in place means that this basement will stay dry all the time, ensuring the customer can live worry-free!
