A homeowner in Bethlehem, CT, was experiencing long-standing water seepage issues in their basement, so they contacted Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution. Our Salesman, Mick Foster, went out to the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing solution.
Soon after, our Foreman Marcio and his crew installed the job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system to capture water seepage. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and safely pump it out of the home. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on half the wall to help lead water from the walls into the drains below.

The owners of this home were looking for a way to make their basement look better. However, the humid conditions made the traditional choice, drywall, a bad choice. We installed Brightwall panels in their home instead, as they are 100% waterproof and washable. The panels created a vapor barrier on the basement walls to block out water vapor and humidity. Its bright white color maximized the available light in this basement, creating a cheerful, clean-looking space.
The owners of this home wanted a permanent, waterproof way to make their basement more finished. Unlike paint and other waterproofing products that adhere to the walls, the BrightWall panels that we installed are mechanically attached to the basement wall with plastic drilled-in fasteners. This ensures that they'll never come off the wall, and will never flake or peel like paints and sealants will. As an additional benefit, BrightWall keeps humidity and water vapor from passing through the foundation walls and into this basement.

The solution for this basement was to install SilverGlo, Rim Joist Insulation, and CleanSpace Liner in this crawl space. The SilverGlo will properly insulate the crawlspace and the Rim Joist Insulation will prevent any air or moisture from entering the space. The dirt floor of the crawlspace was concealed with a CleanSpace Liner. Not only does this liner make the crawlspace look clean and fresh, but it seals away odors while preventing mold and rot.
The after photo shows the crawlspace transformation, incredible! Now these homeowners can enjoy a clean, dry crawlspace that makes the whole home efficient!
