Connecticut Basement Systems is the recipient of three United Way Community Campaign Awards for 2011-2012. The presentations took place at the 44th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner of Valley United Way on April 26th at the Grassy Hill Lodge in Derby, CT.
Larry Janesky, founder and owner of Basement Systems Inc., received the prestigious CVC Corporate Citizen of the Year Award given for Outstanding Leadership in Community Support.
The 2011-2012 Campaign Underwriter Award was given to Connecticut Basement Systems for Outstanding Community Support.
Lawrence Janesky, president of Connecticut Basement Systems and related companies, was named 2012 Connecticut Small Businessperson of the year by the Small Business Administration.

Larry Janesky, president of Connecticut Basement Systems and Dr. Energy Saver will serve as Master of Ceremonies of the Better Business Annual Awards Dinner and Banquet on Nov 10 2011. The event will be held at the AquaTurf Club in Southington. This is Mr. Janesky's thrid year serving at the event.
The Treehouse, Basement Systems' internet department, received the top innovation prize for creating "Risk-Free Affiliate Lead Tracking System" also known as MyLeadTracking.com.
In December 2008, we built a Treehouse work space for the internet team. It's one of the coolest work space in Connecticut. CQIA awarded the GOLD prize for this innovation in 2009.

TEAM, Inc. named Basement Systems with the prestigious title of Volunteer of the Year. The organization said of Basement Systems, "Patient kind and giving, they are truly a great asset."
Basement Systems Vice President Mark Daconto was on hand to receive the award along with Basement Systems employee John Kay. Several other citizens and organizations were also given awards at the Volunteer Reception held at John J. Sullivan's in Ansonia, Connecticut.
Basement Systems, Inc., was given the Corporate Volunteer Leadership Excellence in Community award by the Valley United Way at a ceremony last night. Basement Systems President Larry Janesky was on hand to receive the award and say a few words at the 18th Annual Volunteer Recognition Reception held at John J. Sullivan's in Ansonia, CT.
The ceremony honored a number of other local figures for their volunteer work in the Greater Valley community, as well. Other awards given out included Volunteers of the Year and Living Treasure.
Basement Systems employees volunteer with a number of local nonprofit organizations such as the United Way, TEAM Inc., and the Parent Child Resource Center. Basement Systems is also a member of the Corporate Volunteer Council.

Basement Systems was a finalist for the Connecticut Technology Council - Tech Top 40.
These awards have been given out by the Connecticut Technology Council since 1997. They recognize the fastest-growing technology companies based on percentage revenue growth. This year, the event was held at the Chevrolet Theater in Wallingford, CT.
The Corporate Volunteer Council of Valley United Way awarded the Community Impact Award. Our company and employees donate as well as volunteers for the Valley United Way.
Basement Systems won the top prize for BBB web site marketing award in November 2007. BasementSystems.com was one of the best contractor web sites in 2007 generating leads for dealers in USA, Canada and UK.
The web site ranked #1 in Google for industry related keywords such as Basement Waterproofing, Crawl Space Repair, Wet Basement and more.
The site was and still is very user friendly and always connected customers with their local dealers.
We have also won the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics for the 4th time on this night. Most companies win this award only ONCE.
In 2007, Basement Systems network had over 250 dealers in USA, Canada and UK. The web team at Basement Systems had developed a lead bank system where dealers can send and receive leads in a secured user-friendly dealers only system.
In October 2007, CQIA awarded a Silver innovation prize for this system.
This system allowed the growth of the internet department to generate leads to the entire dealer network. At the end of 2011 the internet team had 40 employees.
It was rare to see quality contractor web sites back in 2006. Basement Systems had developed a custom intranet for it's 250+ dealers that was superior to any network of contractors.
This secured Dealers-Only intranet portal allowed dealers in USA, Canada and UK to log into one place and receive communications, training and marketing materials. The support the dealers received through the system were the best in the industry.
CQIA awarded the 2nd prize for this innovation back in 2006.
