A Hamden, CT, homeowner had a crawl space with moisture and mold issues, so they called us to find a solution to solve this issue permanently. One of our Salesmen, Dean Artusa, went to the home to assess the issues and propose our encapsulation as the lasting resolution.
One of our Foremen, Antonio, and his team installed the proposed work. The major components of this project included our drainage matting, TerraBlock insulation, Foamax wall insulation, and CleanSpace vapor barrier.
This crawl space is now properly insulated and protected from moisture and mold.
Prior to Encapsulation
This crawl space needed protection from moisture and mold, as well as to be insulated properly.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace was installed throughout this space. It is on top of our drainage matting and TerraBlock insulation to ensure moisture can escape, and the floors below are insulated. Overall, this makes the crawl space healthier and drier.
Foamax
On the walls, Foamax insulated wall panels were installed, creating a thermal barrier throughout the whole space.
