Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing System in Cheshire, CT

A homeowner in Cheshire, CT, faced water issues in their basement. They contacted Connecticut Basement Systems for a solution. Sales Consultant Doug Wheeler assessed the basement and proposed waterproofing. Foreman Garfield and his team installed our WaterGuard drainage around the perimeter to capture water, a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls to block moisture, and two TripleSafe sump pumps to pump out water. With the system in place, the basement will stay dry, giving the homeowner peace of mind.

Before Waterproofing

This basement had water seepage issues as well as moisture issues, which concerned the homeowner, so they sought a permanent solution.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe sump pump was installed with our waterproofing system to capture water seepage and safely pump it out of the home. It uses 3 pumps inside to do: a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge.

WaterGuard and CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard drainage system was installed below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement, to capture water seepage. It is below the new cement. Then our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls and tucked into the drains to lead water directly into them, while also acting as a moisture barrier.

Sedona Dehumidifier

Our Sedona dehumidifer was put in to eliminate any excess moisture and mildew, and prevent mold growth. It keeps the space healthy and clean, and no longer musty-smelling.
