A Windsor homeowner was getting water in their basement after heavy rains. They decided to call us at Connecticut Basement Systems in search of a lasting solution. Our Salesman, Dean Artusa, went to the home to assess the basement and propose a proper waterproofing solution.
Our Foreman, Chavon Bowman, and his crew installed this job. The major elements of this install included our WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and SuperSump Plus sump pump.
With our systems in place working hand in hand, this basement will now stay dry and the homeowners can live worry-free when it rains!
Before WaterGuard
This basement was getting water seepage every time there was heavy rain, so a proper solution was much needed.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
Our WaterGuard drainage system is installed below the floor to collect water coming in from the walls and floor. It is under the new cement seen in the image. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls to protect and help direct water from the walls into the drains below. It gets tucked into the flange of the WaterGuard.
SuperSump Plus
Our SuperSump will take collected water from the drainage system and pump it out of the home safely using a proper discharge line.
