A homeowner located in Southbury, CT expressed interest in waterproofing his basement. In need of a solution to the moisture seeping into his basement, he reached out to Sales Representative Matt Abbassi of Connecticut Basement Systems.
During the phone call, Abbassi scheduled a free in-home consultation with the homeowner. Shortly after, he arrived at the home, measuring the space and creating a proposal for work for the homeowner. Included in Abbassi's proposal was our TripleSafe sump pump system and WaterGuard perimeter drainage system, a strong solution to mitigating water seepage.
Once approved, Foreman Allan Guglielmoni arrived on-site to begin the installation process. After a quick installation, the basement was returned to the homeowner protected against further water seepage!
Old Sump Pump System
Prior to the installation, this old sump pump system was inadequate in protecting the homeowner's basement from unwanted moisture.
Before: Pre-Install
Prior to the install, water seeped through this homeowner's floor.
Post-Install: Out with the old, in with the new!
After removing (and filling in) the old sump pump and pit, a new TripleSafe sump pump system was installed in another location in the basement. Ultimately, the new location offered more protection against basement moisture, and was more practical as well.
After: WaterGuard Installed
Installed along the perimeter (see fresh concrete), the WaterGuard system helps relieve pressure building up under the floor by giving moisture a place to escape to. Excess moisture is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump, and expelled at a safe distance from the house.
