A homeowner in Plainville, CT expressed concerns following the presence of water pooling across her basement floor. In need of a solution, she reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems and made contact with Sales Representative Mark Krasnickas.
Scheduling a free in-home consultation, the homeowner explained her concerns to Krasnickas. Once Krasnickas arrived at the home, he mapped out the basement, noting the homeowner's issues and potential solutions. With the visit's conclusion, he provided the homeowner with a proposal that included the following waterproofing solutions: TripleSafe sump pump system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and WaterGuard below-floor drainage system.
With the proposal approved, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Alas's team worked efficiently, installing the systems outlined in Krasnickas's proposal. The homeowner felt much more confident in her basement's waterproofing abilities immediately following the installation!
Rusted Column
Rusted columns can be a sign of basement moisture. When moisture accumulates along the bottom of the column and rust forms, the structural integrity of the house can become compromised overtime.
Old Sump Pump
This antiquated sump pump system was unable to provide relief for the homeowner, who experienced puddles of water within her basement.
Water Pools - Pre-Install
Prior to the install, large puddles of water formed across the floor. Unfortunately, the old sump pump system was unable to handle the amount of moisture accumulating in the basement.
After: CleanSpace & WaterGuard
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier (white plastic material installed along the wall) helps mitigate moisture, channeling it into the WaterGuard system (fresh concrete) installed below the floor. This excess moisture is expelled through the TripleSafe sump pump (not pictured).
