A homeowner in Fairfield, CT was getting water in their basement and they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a solution to their problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Chuck Stofko, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide an estimate for work that they would need to have done to solve their water problem.
Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Sid Avis, and his crew to install the project. They installed WaterGuard around the perimeter below the floors so that it could collect any water coming in from the walls or floors. They then installed a TripleSafe sump pump. This will take all of the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these two systems, the basement will stay dry all the time.
Wet Basement
This basement was getting water, and the homeowner was trying to use their dehumidifiers to keep the area dry, but it wasn't working. That's when they called us.
TripleSafe and WaterGuard
Our crew installed our TripleSafe sump pump. This works with three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup that can pump over 11,000 gallons of water on a full charge. The WaterGuard gets installed below the floors around the perimeter of the whole basement so that any water coming in from the walls or floors gets collected and directed into the sump pump for a proper and safe discharge.
