A homeowner in Shelton, CT was getting water in their basement and needed a system that would keep their basement completely dry all the time. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us solve their problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Doug Wheeler, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a proposal for work they would need to waterproof the entire basement.
Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to work on the installation. They began by installing our WaterGuard drain system around the entire perimeter of the basement. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump in the lowest point of the basement. These two systems work together to collect water from the floors or walls and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. Now this basement will stay dry all the time!

TripleSafe Sump Pump & WaterGuard
Our crew installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of this basement below the floors so that any water coming in from the walls or floors or the seam between the two, will get collected. This water then gets drained into the sump pump, which uses 3 pumps to safely pump out the water from the home at a safe distance.
TrenchDrain & WaterGuard
Above the WaterGuard, our crew installed a TrenchDrain to collect water that may come in through the basement entrance, so that's why it is placed at the bottom of the stairs.
