Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Systems in North Branford, CT
A homeowner in North Branford, CT was getting water in their basement until they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a solution. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, went to the home to assess the issues and propose our systems as a solution.
Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to work on this project. They installed our WaterGuard perimeter drain system around the basement under the floors to ensure that any water coming in from the walls or floors will get collected. Then they also installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to take that collected water from the drains and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. To keep this basement moisture-free and prevent mold growth, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As another layer of protection, they installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier along the whole basement walls to keep any moisture out and lead any water coming from the walls into the WaterGuard. These three products will work together to keep this basement dry. As a finishing touch, our crew installed Sandstone tile around the basement to give the basement floor a nice look! Now this basement will stay dry for the long term!
Before Waterproofing
This basement was suffering from water damage and needed a proper waterproofing system to ensure that the basement would stay completely dry.
SuperSump Plus and Sedona
Our crew installed WaterGuard drains (below the flooring) and a SuperSump Plus so that any water coming in through the walls or floors gets drained into the sump pump and then pumped out of the home at a safe distance. They also installed a Sedona dehumidifier which will prevent excess moisture, keeping the humidity regulated. It will also prevent mold growth because, with no moisture, mold has no place to grow.
CleanSpace and Tile
Our crew installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the basement to ensure that the walls are protected and if water does come in behind the CleanSpace, it gets lead into the Watergaurd drains. To make this space look nice, our crew installed Sandstone tile throughout the basement so that they didn't have to have concrete floors.
