Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing in Purchase, NY
A homeowner in Purchase, NY was getting water in their below-grade garage that leads into the basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a proper solution to their water issue. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales consultants, Vin Orsini, went to the home to assess the issues and give the homeowners a proposal for work. He informed the homeowner that they would need our waterproofing products, like drains and a sump pump, to ensure this space will stay dry for the long-term.
The next step would be the installation process. One of our Foremen, Krzysztof Wilk, and his team would tackle this project. They installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain system throughout the space. They jackhammer into the floor and then place the WaterGuard in. This will collect any water coming in from the walls or the floors. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump in the lowest point of the space to collect any water that comes into the WaterGuard and then it will pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The crew also installed a TrenchDrain along the outward-facing part of the garage to collect any water that may come in directly from that and can drain right into the WaterGuard. Now this space is waterproof and the homeowner no longer needs to worry about getting water!
Below-Grade Garage
This below-grade garage that goes into the basement was getting water. They needed a proper waterproofing system to ensure no water would flood the space.
WaterGuard and TripleSafe
Our crew installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain system that goes below the floor around the entire space. It then gets covered with concrete. This will collect any water coming in from the floors or walls. They also installed a TripleSafe sump pump at the lowest point. This works with three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup. This ensures that no matter the circumstances, the pumps will always be working to pump any water out of the home.
TrenchDrain
Our crew also installed a TrenchDrain above the WaterGuard to ensure any water coming in through openings will go directly into the WaterGuard and the sump pump. It's a large opening so it can collect more water.
