Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation in Greenwich, CT
A homeowner in Greenwich, CT had a crawlspace that was getting water and was also not insulated properly. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us help them fix this problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Christopher Klonaridis, went to the home to assess the issues that were going on and provide the homeowner with a proper solution.
Soon the next step in the process is to have one of our Foremen, Antonio Diaz, and his crew install this project. They installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier all over the crawlspace. This will protect the basement from water and moisture damage. They also installed SilverGlo insulation on the walls. This will help keep heat within the space, which will overall help keep their home more energy efficient. To ensure no excess moisture or mold growth, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now this crawlspace is protected from water and mold, and is insulated for the long term!
Wet Crawlspace
Here you can see this home had a crawlspace that had water in it. It also is not insulated, which can cause the home to be energy inefficient.
CleanSpace, SilverGlo, Sedona
Our crew installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier around the crawlspace to ensure it is fully protected from water damage. Then they also installed SilverGlo (to the right) on the walls so that it keeps the warm air inside. To keep it even more protected, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This will prevent moisture in the crawlspace, which means that mold will have no place to grow.
