The door leading into this Hampton, CT basement was allowing water to leak into the area. To prevent this in the future, we installed a trench drain at the base of the door. This open grated drain collects any water that would enter the basement into the perimeter drainage system. It is then directed out of the basement, keeping the whole area dry.
