The homeowners in this Middlefield, CT home had a continuing water and moisture problem in their basement. They had a sump pump in place but the pump itself could not handle the mount of water especially without  a drain system. The homeowners contacted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to get job done. We came in and assessed the area and recommended a couple things to make sure water doesn't come in and damage the basement any further. To properly drain the water coming into the basement we installed our WaterGuard french drain system. The patented system sit on top of the foundation footing to prevent any clogging. With its unique design it catches any water seeping in through the walls. The water is the guided into the TripleSafe sump pump which has a total of three pumps. The first two pumps turn on individually and if one cant handle the amount of water then the second turns on to assist the other. The last issue that needed to be addressed and fixed was the moisture levels in the air. We installed our SaniDry dehumidifier and air purifier. The system is able to pump out 110 pints of water a day and with a Merv 11 filter particles in the air are taken care of as small as 2 microns.  The homeowners not only now have a waterproof basement but it is also free of humidity and mold.
