The homeowners in this Bloomfield, CT home had a continous water problem in their partially finished basement. Water would come in and pool along the walls which would in turn damage the walls. The homeowners were fed up and needed a fix for this. They contacted the experts here at Connecticut Basement Systems to fix their problem for good. We came out and assesed the job and installed several of our products to fix the water problem. We installed our WaterGuard franch drain system to catch any water that was coming in. This french drain system is installed over the mudzone and has a special anti-clog design. Once the system is installed gravel is layed over it and then it is covered up with cement, so that it is as if we were never there. To collect the water from the drain system we installed our TripleSafe sump pump. Our sump pump has a patented design unmatched anywhere. It has a total of three pumps for that added security. Once there is sign of water coming in the first pump turns on and pumps out 2,200 gallons of water per hour. If the first pump can't handle the amount of water coming in then the second pump turns on and pumps out an additional 3,900 gallons of water per hour. If the power goes out then the third pump which is backed up by a battery turns on and pumps out an additional 11,500 gallons of water.
