When we arrived in this basement, it was wet and humid. Without an adequate sump pump system, the water that leaked into the space often sat in the basement for a long time. To remedy this, we installed the SuperSump system. The SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,500 gallons of water per hour out of the basement. It also includes an airtight lid and a WaterWatch alarm, which sounds off when water has risen past the point where the pumps should have turned on, to let the homeowners know if there is a plumbing failure or other water problem.
