A homeowner in New Canaan, CT had water seepage in their basement which is why they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems so we could help them solve this problem! One of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, went to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution that would keep their basement dry.
Soon after one of our Foremen, Garfield Sanderson, and his crew installed this job. They installed our WaterGaurd drainage system around the entire perimeter of the basement, below the floor, to collect water coming in from the floors or walls. Our TripleSafe sump pump was installed to take all of that water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They even installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls. This basement now has a top-of-the-line waterproofing system installed!
Basement with Water Damage
This basement had water seepage that was causing water damage throughout the space. They needed a permanent solution.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our crew installed a TripleSafe to take collected water from the drainage system and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a discharge line. This uses three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup that can pump 11,500 gallons on a full charge.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
Our WaterGuard drainage system was installed below the floor by jackhammering, laying down the drains, and then covering them with new concrete. It will collect water coming in from the walls and floors. The CleanSpace vapor barrier will lead water from the wall into the drains that lay below.
