Photo Album: Waterproofing Systems in New Haven, CT
A homeowner in New Haven was getting water in their basement and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us fix this problem. One of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin, went to the home to assess the issue and provide the homeowner with an estimate for a solution. Once ready to go ahead with the work, one of our Foremen, Delfino Mones, and his crew would install this job.
They began by installing our WaterGuard drain system below the floor to collect water coming in from the walls and the floors. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The crew also installed our CleanSpace wall system to act as a vapor barrier. These systems would ensure their basement will stay dry, giving the homeowner peace of mind.
Basement Needing Waterproofing
This basement was getting water from the walls and floors and needed a permanent solution.
WaterGuard, TripleSafe, and CleanSpace
The WaterGuard drains are below the floor under new concrete. This is to ensure any water coming in from the walls or floors will go directly into the drains. The TripleSafe will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. It uses 3 pumps to ensure no matter the circumstance water can always be pumped out. The CleanSpace vapor barrier protects the walls and leads any water coming in from the walls into the drains below.
TrenchDrain
Our crew installed a TrenchDrain at the bottom of the basement entrance to collect larger amounts of water. This will allow the water to go directly into the drain system from the slope of the entrance.
