A homeowner in Southport was getting water seepage in their basement due to heavy rains so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution to their problems. After scheduling an appointment, it would be time for one of our Sales Consultants, Vin Orsini, to go out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a solution.
One of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew installed this job. They installed our WaterGuard drain system around the perimeter of the basement below the floor. This would collect the water coming in from the walls and floors. Then they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. These systems will work together to keep this basement dry so the homeowner no longer needs to worry!

SuperSump Plus
Our crew installed one of our SuperSump Plus sump pumps that will take collected water from the WaterGuard drain system and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. The crew also installed a TrenchDrain at the bottom of the basement door to collect water directly coming in from the outside.
WaterGuard
Our crew installed WaterGuard along the perimeter of the basement. This gets installed by jackhammering the floors, installing the WaterGuard below the floor, and then covering it with new concrete. This will collect water coming in from the walls or below the floors.
